Climate Pledge Arena

Sports and Live Performances in Seattle

Home of the Seattle Kraken, Climate Pledge Arena was originally constructed as the site of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Bruce Springsteen are a few of the many legendary performers who’ve graced the stage. The 74-acre multi-purpose historical landmark has undergone a complete redevelopment with a mission to serve as the most sustainable, progressive and environmentally responsible arena in the world.

Often referred to as the Seattle Center, the complex was the first to announce their goal to eliminate single-use plastics and continues to pioneer water conservation. A “Rain to Rink” system collects water from the roof into a cistern to create the greenest ice of any NHL venue. The facility features ultra-efficient showers, waterless urinals and water bottle filling stations.
