PACKAGING

Craft Elixirs’ packaging is always beautiful. This black and pink pack is so well designed, the black background with pink lettering is classy and easy to read, and the typeface is classic. The clear baggy is great, because it shows off the candy, and the beauty of the candy speaks for itself. The information on the packaging is plentiful. These candies are vegan, kosher, and gluten-free. All of the ingredients are listed, as is the dosage. Craft Elixirs truly have some of the best packaging in the business.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

The candy is so luscious looking. The sugar coating on the outside of the square, with the real chunk of fruit inside, makes this candy just as delicious to the eyes as it is to the senses. The texture is like gummy sour candy, but a little less grainy and more smooth. The candy doesn’t have much of a scent, though if you give it a close sniff you can get some fruity hints.

EXPERIENCE

As far as flavor and eating experience goes, this candy is phenomenal. The flavor is somewhere in between fruit leather and a sour patch kid. It’s got that real fruity hippie goodness with some real candy. It melts in your mouth while being satisfyingly chewy at the same time. The high was perfect for its intended purpose, which was to not get me too high, just calm me down a bit. I had a nice walk, cooked dinner, and did a little work while remaining calm about the possible end of time occurring right now. I also have a knee injury at the moment, and it felt nice and relaxed as I hiked, there was very little stiffness. Win, win, win.

OVERALL

Candy that gets you a little high while also tasting delicious is always a treat. This candy is as good-looking as it is tasting. If you’re looking for something that will get you blasted, this isn’t it. It’s a nice, gentle high for folks looking to take the edge off. It’s perfect for that purpose.
