PACKAGING

The package for these Sour Blackberry THC Fruit Chews by Smokiez Edibles is super cute! The nice natural blackberry all-over pattern is really sweet and original. It’s neither sterile and minimalist, or gauche and busy, which seem to be the two predominant aesthetics in cannabis package design. It’s pretty, and sweet, and would make a nice gift. The label contains all he info you need, which is not much for edibles, ingredients and the basic THC/CBD info.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

These are pretty, simple candies. Sour Blackberry THC Fruit Chews by Smokiez Edibles are round, sugar-coated, about the size of a fifty-cent piece in diameter. The color is subtle and natural-looking, the coloring used is derived from beets, not nasty red #5 or whatever. The individual packaging isn’t over the top difficult to open which is nice. The candies’ do possess a subtle fruity fragrance.

EXPERIENCE

As far as experience eating goes, these Sour Blackberry THC Fruit Chews by Smokiez Edibles are solid. They’re tasty, and not overly flavored. The package says the candies contain natural and artificial flavor, and had I not seen that I would have assumed it was natural only. They taste more like fancy candy than starburst. These were the sour candies, but I didn’t notice them being super sour. Mostly just a tad tart. The high was perfect. The THC to CBD ratio was pleasant, making these candies perfectly intoxicating and chill.

OVERALL

Smokiez come HIGHly recommended by budtenders and I can see why. The price point, the steady quality, the package, they’re all solid and kind of perfect. These Sour Blackberry THC Fruit Chews by Smokiez Edibles are a perfect summer treat for edible-lovers.
