Northwest Community Bail Fund Campaign

Uncle Ike’s is hosting a charitable campaign to help raise funds for the Northwest Community Bail Fund. You may remember our “Big Lift” campaign for Entre Hermanos during Pride Week last year. Much like that campaign, this year we are asking participating vendors to donate 5% of their proceeds from all Uncle Ike’s locations between June 19th to the 25th to the NCBF. Uncle Ike’s will be doing our part by donating 5% of all our proceeds during the duration of the campaign. Our goal is to raise at least $40k this year!

What is NCBF?
The Northwest Community Bail Fund is a nonprofit organization advocating for bail reform and working to minimize the harm of the cash bail system by paying bail for people who would otherwise spend the pre-trial time in jail.

What does NCBF do?
NCBF works to ensure that people accused of low-level crimes have an equal opportunity to defend themselves from a position of freedom. They provide cash bail for people who are unable to pay due to poverty and who are charged with crimes in King and Snohomish Counties and have no other holds. They also provide support to navigate the legal process with the aim of reducing pre-trial incarceration and its consequences, reducing the pressure to plead guilty.
